There are many better alternatives than the Durbanville Hills Wine Estate Restaurant.

Buitenverwachting Wine Estate was a pleasant experience but with some disappointments.

We went with Rob and Rose to the Round House Restaurant in the Glen in Camps Bay, Cape Town on 30th April 2010. A lovely experience but not as good as it should be.

We had lunch at the lovely Diemersfontein Wine Estate in Wellington on 19th April 2010. We were returning after a lovely lunch in January but left disappointed. Lunch was not as good as last time. The wines continue to be lovely.

Tibby, Pat and I visited the Cloof Wine Estate which is 25kms from the town of Darling in the Western Cape, off the road to Malmesbury.
