In September and October 2021, I travelled 7,000 kms through Tanzania and Zambia in 40 days. I started my trip in Arusha in Tanzania, headed down the eastern side of Tanzania as far as Nyerere National Park and then travelled west across the width of the country to Lake Tanganyika.
Tibby and I travelled 3,000 miles around England, Wales and Scotland in 34 days in May and June 2021.

Tibby and I stayed for four nights from 21st November 2020 at Shamwari Private Game Reserve which is 80km from Port Elizabeth in South Africa.
Tibby and I spent four days on Lamu Island from 24th October 2020.
From 15th October 2020 I travelled 1,200km over five days from Arusha to Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti Game Reserve and Lake Natron in Tanzania.
Tibby and I travelled 1,750 miles around England in 32 days in August and September 2020.
In February and March 2020, I drove 8,800km from Cape Town to the Kruger Park, through Zimbabwe and Zambia to Tanzania.
We arrived at our Santiago hotel location, according to our sat nav, and I did not dare to stop. We had stayed in this hotel five years ago and had memories of a tree lined road with smart apartment buildings in the neighbourhood.
Chile has a deservedly good reputation for their wines When we visited the country in 2015 we explored the Colchagua Valley and started our enjoyment of Chilean wines.
We stayed three nights in Valparaiso from 4th February 2020. Valparaiso was the principal port of Chile for hundreds of years and the government, navy and wealthy traders built several impressive buildings.
